ACHIEVE MORE TRAINING maintain Direct Claim Status

Achieve More Training Retains Direct Claim Status Following Successful EQA Visit

We’re thrilled to share that Achieve More Training has once again been recognised for its high-quality delivery and assessment practices, retaining Direct Claim Status (DCS) across a wide range of qualifications following our latest External Quality Assurance (EQA) monitoring visit.

The annual visit, carried out remotely by Focus Awards, highlighted numerous strengths across our organisation, resulting in an overall “Low Risk” rating—the best possible outcome.

What is Direct Claim Status (DCS)?
DCS allows us to directly certificate learners without waiting for external approval, speeding up the process for learners who successfully complete their qualifications. It is only granted to centres that consistently meet the highest standards of quality assurance, internal verification, and learner support.

🌟 Highlights from the EQA Report:
Strong Internal Quality Assurance: “There is an appropriate strategy in place, with various sampling levels taking place as appropriate. Feedback to assessors is constructive and well-documented.”

Exceptional Team Experience: The centre was recognised for having a large, experienced team of assessors and internal quality assurers (IQAs), with well-defined roles and responsibilities.

Effective Communication: “There is frequent communication between all members of the team, with both informal communication and formal meetings… Standardisation activities occur regularly.”

Learner-Centric Approach: The EQA report praised the centre’s approach to identifying individual learner needs and supporting progression through personalised guidance and structured assessment plans.

Secure and Compliant Systems: All learner work is stored securely and in line with GDPR regulations, using a dedicated online platform.

🗣 “Many thanks for your time today Alison, and for your continued support with qualifications in Wales.”
– Helen Pusey, External Quality Assurer (Focus Awards)
